Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 cup (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup quick-cooking oats
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon Humble Salt Original Blend
  • 1 lb lean ground beef

For the Glaze

  • ⅔ cup ketchup
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • 1½ teaspoons prepared mustard

Lil Cheddar Meatloaves With Humble Salt

A comforting family recipe that's simple, filling, and full of flavor. These mini meat loaves bring together cheddar cheese, onion, and Humble Salt with a sweet and tangy glaze.

From my grandma's cook book to you

  • 1 egg

  • ¾ cup milk

  • 1 cup (4 oz) shredded cheddar cheese

  • ½ cup quick-cooking oats

  • ½ cup chopped onion

  • 1 teaspoon Humble Salt Original Blend

  • 1 lb lean ground beef

     

  • ⅔ cup ketchup

  • ½ cup packed brown sugar

  • 1½ teaspoons prepared mustard

 

 

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 13 × 9-inch baking dish.

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.

  3. Stir in the cheddar cheese, oats, chopped onion, and Humble Salt Original Blend.

  4. Add the ground beef and gently mix until just combined.

  5. Shape into 8 mini meat loaves and place in the prepared baking dish.

  6. In a small bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard.

  7. Spoon the glaze evenly over each loaf.

  8. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.

  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
